BUTTERNUT WATERFALL COFFEE TABLE
This custom locally harvested Butternut coffee table was commissioned to be the center piece of the client’s living room. We wanted to accentuate the dynamic, natural characteristics of the slab by preserving its splits and holes. Four inlayed butterfly keys hold keep the checks from moving. In order to emphasize the crotches and unique grain attributes, we finished it using a combination of wet sanding, water-resistant urethane, hard wax, Bess’ wax, and Odie’s Oil.
